a cry for help . . .

Sorry, but this really is a bit of a cry for help.

How do you contact Blogger?  I can't make comments on a friend's blog because it goes in to a Moebius strip of asking for log in details and I can't contact blogger because there's no facility to do that. "Help" in this case doesn't actually mean that.

Blogger really is rubbish at the moment, isn't it?  I don't want to go with Google Chrome because it doesn't seem to work well either.

Is there a better way to blog?  I'm already totally fed up with blogger.

Dave,

I don't think you can really contact Blogger -- it's a free service, after all. There are the usual "help" FAQs and email contact if you click the "Help" top right oin your dashboard screen, and a bulletin service at status.blogger.com.

Why not leave an anonymous comment (unless the other blog hasn't allowed those)? You could also sign up for OpenID and try that.

I've heard TypePad is a good alternative, and I think you can import your old Blogger posts.

Mike,

Thanks for that. I've started checking out WordPress - TypePad I think you have to pay for. However, since actually using the Help button rather than ignore it, it looks as though there are ways around the problem.

So, Brendan I can continue making pointless remarks on your blog now.

Phew! World saved . . .

See this? This is me wiping beads of anxiety induced perspiration from my furrowed brow.

Is this about expectancy or worry about what I might say next?

It's a mix. It's good to talk, but you're such a potty mouth!

A what? Oh, you mean I have a tendency to say the unsayable?
